The Mid-Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Elwood to the Tiffany Circle™ National Council. Twenty-four women leaders from local chapters of the American Red Cross were chosen to lend their experience and insight to staff at the national level.
Nancy Elwood is a resident of Okemos and an Assistant Vice President with Merrill Lynch in East Lansing. She is also a board member for the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the Red Cross which will certainly benefit by her involvement in Washington D.C. with the National Council.
“I have always wanted to do more for the Red Cross as a board member. Becoming one of the founding members and chair of the Tiffany Circle™ has given me many opportunities to share my enthusiasm and passion for the Red Cross. I am hoping to inspire more women leaders who are interested in helping those in our community and around the world to prepare, prevent and respond to any emergency”, says Ms. Elwood.
