Mobile Food Pantry

In 2006, we facilitated thirty-one Mobile Food Pantries providing 543,482 pounds of food in a seven county area. In 2007, thus far, we have held twenty-five MFP’s distributing 441,579 pounds of food. Meijer, Inc. is a major conrtibutor of the donated food and produce that is given out at the Mobile Food Pantries.

The Mobile Food Pantry provides supplemental food items for a family’s food cupboard. Some common products on the Mobile Food Pantry are fresh fruits and vegetables, cottage cheese, jello, pudding, yogurt, juice, crackers, cereal and nutritious snack items.
