Every day, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies… whether it's a hurricane or a heart attack, a call for blood or a call for help, the Red Cross is there.

Approximately 1.2 million people volunteer for the American Red Cross; volunteers make up 97% of all American Red Cross workers.

Since 1917 Mid-Michigan Red Cross volunteers have provided community services, sponsored blood drives, and helped prepare for and respond to emergencies.

What are your special skills? Use your skills to help the Red Cross. If you like to drive, you can drive donated blood to hospitals. If you have clerical experience, you can help out at the front desk, greeting visitors and directing calls. For those who enjoying teaching or public speaking, you can become a Health & Safety instructor and teach CPR and first aid.
